In the Hall of the Mountain King
"In the Hall of the Mountain King" is an orchestral melody composed by Edvard Grieg in 1875, as part of the play Peer Gynt. It's instantly recognizable and extra fun to play extra fast. This isn't the only extra famous melody from that play; Grieg also wrote "Morning," the classic "cartoon character wakes up in the morning" song you've probably heard before. We'll start slow and gradually get faster as we repeat this song and it's sections.
